Bellarific Friday with Tiny Townie Becky Loves Bunny Wobbles

Hey crafty peeps!

Today I thought I'd share a Spring card with you- it must be coming soon, right?! All this rain rain rain is getting a bit depressing so I thought I'd cheer myself up with this week's Bellarific Friday and Tiny Townie Becky Loves Bunny Wobbles...

This week's challenge was to USE A DIE. So easy!
I coloured Becky with copics and fussy cut. I then die cut an aperture in a panel edged with American Crafts papers and raised up the panel with 3d tape. I stamped out the sentiment on a die-cut banner and then adhered across the aperture. Finally mounted Becky on top.
Top tip: when you're mounting a bit image over an aperture like this, remember some bits of the image with need 3d foam tape to make them the same height as the aperture but some areas will simply need normal double-sided tape (i.e. her feet, top part of her head).

Isn't she just the cutest?! I love her dress and of course her stripey tights!

Here is your inspiration photo for next week! So many stamps spring to mind with this one!!
Get your entries in by Thursday- all your deets are here. Don't forget you can win yourself some Bella $$$s  to spend!!

Bellarific Friday with Uptownie Brynn Has A Baby Shower

Happy Friday everyone!

Today's challenge over at Stamping Bella was a sketch (see below). I made a card featuring the very pretty Uptownie Brynn Has A Baby Shower...

I love how elegant and sophisticated she looks despite being heavily pregnant and of course she wears heels!! I definitely did NOT when I was pregnant! I'm only 5ft 1" so spent my whole pregnancy waddling about!! ha ha.

Anyhoo, I coloured Brynn with copics and paper pieced her dress. Papers are by Echo Park- so pretty- I especially love the one with buttons on. I added plenty of Stickles. The teeny scalloped edge is a Simon Says Stamp die. Sentiment comes with and was punched out using the SU Window punch.

Here's my close up. As usual I did some colouring over her paper pieced dress to make it look more realistic.

Here was your sketch for this week. As you can see, I rotated it and rotated the sentiment as well! Artistic licence, folks!!

Next week's challenges is simples! USE A DIE!! Get your entries into Em by Thursday via email or Mr Linky for your chance to win yourself some Bella bucks to spend! Entry details are here.

Bellarific Friday with Uptownie Catherine Nibbling Chocolate!

Hi everyone!

It's the first Friday of the month- blimey, where did January go?!- so that means our first challenge of February is ANYTHING GOES and the DT are using the STAMP OF THE MONTH which means for the whole of Feb, Catherine Nibbling Chocolate is 20% off!!!!!

I coloured Catherine with copics and went old school and paper pieced her dress. I did alot of extra colouring on her dress, especially the trim, just to add more depth. I then fussy cut. I stamped out the sentiment with SU Rich Razzleberry ink onto some of the Authentique paper. I went very CAS with this card and just added some pearls and teeny hearts for interest.

Here's your close up. Love the pattern on her dress!

Next week's challenge is the above sketch. Get your entries into Em by Thursday either by email or via Mr Linky. Don't forget to use a current Stamping Bella stamp! Full entry details are on the blog.
